Street soccer enthusiasts have reason to cheer with the newly refurbished and expanded street soccer courts near Blk 409B Fernvale Road and Blk 432B Sengkang West Way.

The courts were upgraded after AMKTC received feedbacks from residents, who enjoy playing the sport with their soccer kakis. Residents commented that the court at Blk 409B was too small for the game. After much review, the soccer court, together with the court at Blk 432B, were upgraded. The courts are now 20m by 14m and can accommodate 10 people.

Mr Gan Thiam Poh, MP for Ang Mo Kio GRC, officiated the opening of these street soccer courts on 29 March. He said: “We hope the new courts will encourage residents to keep active and stay healthy by engaging in sports-related activities.”

The courts are open daily from 7am to 10pm. No booking is required, and are available on a first-come-first-served basis. With the lifting of most COVID-19 restrictions, now you can get your ball ready to kick off a game with your family or friends at these amenities.

Peminat bola sepak jalanan dan kaki bola kini boleh menguji kemahiran mereka di gelanggang bola sepak jalanan yang dipertingkatkan di Blok 409B Fernvale Road dan Blok 432B Sengkang West Way. Gelanggang yang dinaik taraf itu seluas 20m dengan 14m dan boleh memuatkan 10 orang. Gelanggang dibuka setiap hari dari jam 7 pagi hingga 10 malam, dan boleh digunakan berdasarkan siapa cepat dia dapat.
